How to Enable Rarity and Rank

The total rarity score for a given NFT is calculated based on the standard that is commonly used for EVM chains such as Rarity Tools and Rarity Sniper. Each attribute is assigned an individual score based on its frequency in the set, which is determined by dividing the total set size by the frequency of the attribute in the set. Additionally, the NFT’s attribute count is also factored into the score, meaning that an NFT with 3 attributes will receive a score based on the ratio of total NFTs in the set to total NFTs with that attribute count. To view the calculation for an individual NFT, simply click on the “View Score Card” link on the individual NFT page.

If you have a collection of NFTs listed on the onXRP platform, you can enable or disable the calculation of rarity and ranks at any time by following these steps:

  1. Go to nft.onxrp.com and log in using the XUMM application. If you don’t have a XUMM wallet, click here to set one up.
  2. From your profile page (https://nft.onxrp.com/my-profile/), navigate to the “Collections” tab (https://nft.onxrp.com/my-profile/collections/).
  3. Select the collection for which you want to enable or disable rarity calculation.
  4. Click “Edit Collection” and scroll down to the appropriate section.
  5. Check the box to enable rarity calculation, or uncheck the box to disable it.
  6. Press “Save” to confirm the changes.
  7. To verify that the changes have been applied, go back to your collection page and click on one of your NFTs. The rarity calculation should now be either enabled or disabled, depending on your selection.
