Shilling a project, promoting a project. When a person is explaining to someone why a project is good or why that person should invest in it. It is the implicit advertising of a cryptocurrency by someone to try to promote a project.

Shilling is the practice where someone actively and sometimes maliciously promotes a cryptocurrency to inflate its value and lure new investors towards it. The goal of these people, known as shills, is to advertise or sell the cryptocurrency by any means necessary and pump its value.
To avoid investing in a project because of a shill, make sure you do research, keep a clear head and invest wisely.
