History of the term IYKYK.

This term made its first appearance around 2015 on social media and was found in the Urban Dictionary from 2016. In 2018 the term gained popularity through the song “If you know you know” by rapper Pusha T. In 2020 it became even more well known when it was a rapidly growing hashtag on TikTok.
